Hey everyone! Last night we went ahead and added several new features to the site which includes private messaging, profiles, chatting, and much more. These features are accessible to registered users on the site by using the top menu. Users can now add friends on the site, follow their activity feeds, post detailed profile information, and message them directly both via private message and a chat widget that now appears on the bottom right hand of the site. We really wanted to beef up our community features and believe this is the first step to help fostering community engagement.
Below is a list of current features added from last night’s deployment:
- Private Message.
- Activity Feeds.
- Members Directory.
- Extended Profile Capability.
- Chat, Mail and Friends Widget.
- New Sign-in widget on the site.
What we have planned in the future:
- Forums
- Facebook Connectivity.
- Groups.
- Events.
We don’t expect that these features will be perfect during the initial launch so please provide us with any feedback on either my profile or one of the staff members; either through a private message or on our wall. We will continue to grow and provide the type of features our community deserves and hope that these basic implementations will go a long way in proving that.
