Here you’ll find an informative little trailer from Vigil and Prima Games explaining how the loot system in Darksiders 2 operates. It’s a great feature to add to a game like this, and should make every kill and dungeon delve feel more than worthwhile. I especially like how possessed weapons get stronger by feeding them the power of other, lesser weapons. Pretty cool stuff. Check the trailer out below.

Its starting to(has been really) get like movie commercials with games now. They show all the game worth seeing now. I kinda miss the days where they would have 1 commercial for a game, if that. Most games would just have a small ad in gamepro or something. Its like playing a commercial over and over now because they put out a trailer for absolutely every aspect of a game, no mystery at all. I would rather these companies cut back on the advertising budget and price their games cheaper so you can just see it at a store, and read the back of the package(who does that anymore?) and make your mind up. There just isn’t much to discover in a game anymore, your shown all of it before hand. Thats games in general, not just this one, even the post under this one is…. a trailer… not a first trailer, but another “and” trailer…. its gotten old to me, sorry for the rant.

I understand, but if you want mystery in a game all you have to do is personally ignore the trailers. Some people seek these sorts of trailers out because they like to be informed of what a game has to offer before they drop $60 on it, especially if they don’t have a large gaming budget or disposable income.

This. I basically ignore most trailers unless it’s a cinematic hype trailer. I don’t want to see story line spoilers or anything of the like and I don’t want to watch the first hour of a game.
