Guild Wars 2 has seen a lot of hype amongst the MMO-playing community and has been in beta for a while now with no official release date. Today, ArenaNet have revealed via a teaser trailer the game’s release is set for August 28th.
Guild Wars 2 is set to rival all the usual big MMOs, with its unique take on abilities and questing structure. Oh, also, there’s no subscription needed to play.
You can buy the game for £49.99/€54.99/$59.99 (or spend a bit more for the deluxe edition) but after that there are no subscriptions, as well as little of this free-to-play/’pay-to-win’ stuff.
ArenaNet have also revealed that a final beta will take place on July 20th-22nd.
