Smart move by Nintendo. Sony really have missed a trick by not getting a MH installment for the Vita. I would be interested to know how much Nintendo paid Capcom, methinks a substantial sum indeed….
well, considering I own only ocarina of time as a 3ds game at the moment (due to most 3ds games being crap in 3d), i’ll take look and decide later on if i want this or not. but I have to say, if it wasn’t for pokemon (my one gaming addiction) i’d be pretty much done with nintendo right now.
I’m not sure what your gaming tastes are, but there are a ton of games more then just a LoZ remake on the 3DS to keep you busy not to mention the gargantuan backlog of DS games.
I’m interested in Monster Hunter on the 3DS, but that’s assuming it gets localized and…well…you know Capcom. I’m also really interested in Castlevania Mirror of Fate, but that’s about it on the Nintendo side. Definitely gonna grab a Vita later this year for Assassin’s Creed Liberation though.
yeah, i’m tired of the vita/psp stuff honestly. i feel i can get that console experience on a console, so why buy another handheld that does the same thing? at least, that’s how I see it. but the 3ds is unique among systems, and the 3d is honestly pretty good, your eyes do much better with this system than glasses (they bother me after a few hours). monster hunter looks pretty cool, but i’ll grab a preview on the 3ds download to see how the 3d looks (it takes forever to download stuff on there).

3DS, blah. Capcom make hardcore games like Monster Hunter and only release them to consoles like Wii and 3DS. :/
It’ll sell well in Japan, obviously, but I don’t think the West will care until they make a PS3/360 MH.

Definitely a lot of money being exchanged behind closed doors.
