Shane Satterfield, Editor-in-Chief over at GameTrailers has played all three versions of Assassin’s Creed III, but the Wii U version looks the best!

“I’m definitely getting Assassin’s Creed III. And like Mike said, I’ve seen pretty much all three versions at this point. To me, the Wii U version looks the best. It also has added functionality, so that would probably be the one game I’d buy with the Wii U, would be Assassin’s Creed III.”

He’s also revealed plans to purchase another game for his Wii U which could be available at launch…

“There’s another game that might make launch that hasn’t been announced yet that maybe I would buy for it. But I can’t really mention that.”

“All three versions”? I guess the PC doesn’t exist anymore.

Let’s be honest, the PC version will be a crummy console port with bad Ubi-DRM so it’s no wonder people forget about it. :(

actually i got AC2 on steam, and while it does need a controller it’s otherwise a fantastic game (no DRM issues). what version of AC or ubisoft game gave you the bad experience?

When did you get AC2? When it was first released you HAD to be online to play it, and if you lost your connection while playing it’d boot you out of the game. Luckily they patched it, but I still don’t think they’re to be trusted. :P

i got it pretty far after release, say like 8 months to a year ago. perhaps they’ve learned their lesson and won’t use draconian DRM.

            stupid Ultraviolet digital copy.
