Microsoft has announced today the official launch date for the Xbox One, 22nd November. The console will launch in North America and 12 other markets while the rest will launch in 2014.
This initial launch of the Xbox One will see the console being released in Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain and the UK. The console is being priced at $500 and will come with the Kinect sensor, a controller and a headset.
On top of that, Microsoft has confirmed that the development team has increased the CPU from 1.6GHZ to 1.75GHZ in an effort to bring more value to the consumer. Furthermore, they have announced a limited edition Xbox One Day One console for pre-order.

Competitor Sony will be releasing their next gen console, the PlayStation 4 on November 15th, a week earlier.
